The next couple of weeks had been like this, where she did it with him almost all the time, and they continued a lovely relationship as fiancé and fiancée. They knew that it would work out, abut Julia started to feel strange. She felt as if she didn’t want to eat, and she was getting sick every single morning. She wondered what it was, but after a bit of thought, the one thing she worried about was in her mind.

She thought she was pregnant. She went to the drugstore to get a test, and when she took it, she hoped that it wasn’t the case. But then, when she pulled it out she saw the foreboding sign. She was pregnant, but she didn’t know what to do. Would he want to keep the baby? Would he still want to help her? It bothered her that she wasn’t sure about this, but she would have to ask him.

That evening, he came home from his new office job to her at the table, holding the test and feeling unsure of herself. He came over, looking at her with a concerned glance.

“Are you okay?” he asked.

She looked at him, feeling a bit shameful. She pushed the test into his hand, sobbing.

He knew what it was. She was pregnant, and the baby was his. He felt a bit nervous about this, knowing that he was about to go into a new stage of life.

“So you’re pregnant,” he said.

“Yes. And it’s your child. I haven’t messed around with another guy in three years,” she admitted.

He knew it was true. She probably got pregnant when they first did it. At first he was scared, but he knew that it would happen eventually.

“It’s nothing to be afraid of baby. I’ll take care of you. We’ll have a family together, and nothing will stop us,” he replied.

She wondered how her family would take it, but she didn’t care. She nodded in assent, getting up and looking at him.

“I agree. Thank you babe. I hope that we’re both able to become the best parents we can be,” she replied.

He nodded, and then they kissed one another. It felt nice, real, and for the first time ever, Julia felt safe. She knew her stepbrother would take care of her no matter what, and she would continue to make him happy. He was her alpha, her protector, and she would do all she could in order to make him the happiest man alive. That was her goal in this life, and no matter what in the world happened next, she would work in order to make him happy.
